Greetings Mu-Gamma Chapter-at-Large Members!
I hope your new year is off to a good start, despite some of the snow we expereinced here in the Treasure Valley. We are gearing up for some activities this spring and are hoping to identify what types of activities you would like to see as a chapter member. Listed below are the planned activities this spring. Please join one of our board meetings to voice your thoughts or to join in the planning of events for our chapter. We meet on Zoom the second Tuesday of each month. The link will be posted in the events page.
In the spring we are co-hosting the Treasure Valley Nursing Research Conference on May 15, 2024 9:00am-3:30 pm at the McCleary Center at St. Alphonsus, Boise. We have joined with clinical partners here in the Treasure Valley to bring together nursing research and practice projects. I hope you all will be able to attend, free for Mu Gamma members, and see what our nursing colleagues are presenting.
We are planning a publishing for nurses online event. This is geared towards practicing nurses who have completed projects or have ideas for a publication, but they are not sure where to submit, how to submit, or for those who just have an interest in learning about publishing for the future. More details to come.
Our board elections will happen in June of this year. We will send out an email with the positions up for election with description, and the way to self-nominate if you are interested.
The election will take place virtually and be announced at the June in-person meeting (date, time, and location TBD).
